New TN Bill Would Outlaw Sale of Cold Beer at Stores

A new Tennessee bill would make it illegal for retail stores to sell cold beer. Sponsored by Republican Senator Paul Rose of District 32 and Republican Representative Ron Gant of District 94, the bill “prohibits a beer permittee from selling at retail refrigerated or cold beer.”  The bill has been referred to the Senate and Local Government Committee.
