Three Juveniles Arrested For Vandalizing Vehicles Throughout Putnam County

Three juveniles have been taken into custody in Putnam County after numerous vehicles were vandalized this week. According to a Press Release from the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, on Tuesday (3/5/24), the Sheriff’s Office, as well as the Cookeville Police Department and the Algood Police Department, began receiving an influx of calls in reference to vehicles being vandalized across Putnam County. An investigation immediately began resulting in three juveniles being identified as possible suspects. During the investigation, the three juveniles admitted to law enforcement that they had driven throughout Putnam County causing damage to vehicles.

All three juveniles were arrested and charged with vandalism over $10,000 and are currently housed in the Putnam County Juvenile Detention Center.
