The National Weather Service says the Sunbright tornado was an EF-1. It touched down around 5:30pm Tuesday and packed winds of 105 miles per hour and was about 2.8 miles long and 100 yards wide.  Several buildings were damaged in downtown Sunbright, including a gas station and Schubert Funeral Home. Rescuers estimated at least 5 homes were damaged as they searched the area Tuesday night. Fortunately, there were no injuries or fatalities. Preliminary information indicates the same twister could have moved into Scott County.  The Tennessee Emergency Management Agency is expected to be in Morgan County on Friday.
